Who are we and why should I care?
This journey, the one you go on while building a vehicle is an interesting one. It is a path that is filled with highs and lows, difficult struggles and amazing triumphs!
"Car building" can be one of the toughest and most expensive hobbies out there and therefore also at times one of the most challenging both physically and mentally...
Balancing this passion while also affording life can make it extremely prohibitive.
Costs come from everywhere when your "into cars".
Simple stuff like having somewhere to work on a project, having the right tools and even just to be able to afford the project in the first place not to mention the cost on "overnight parts from Japan"
Not to mention to build a car from scratch you need to have so many talents.
Mechanical knowledge, wiring, paint, trim, wheels, tyres, suspension....
Welding, sewing, physical strength and eye for detail.
Its a life choice that can be very difficult to maintain especially as life progresses.
During our time on the road the team from "Can fit Automotive Accessories" saw much of this first hand.
Travelling far and wide installing stereo's, speakers, lights and many other items into many of these projects for everyone from Hot Rodders to the 4wd enthusiast.
Seeing so many of these projects at different stages and meeting the great people attached to them got us thinking. How can we help beyond just fitting products one on one?
How can we really bring change to the scene and get more of your projects out there onto the pavement for all to enjoy?
The Can fit Collective is the answer.
What began as a way to bring the community a little closer together and simply share these stories from the shed is transforming into a place that the community now comes together.
A place we can all SUPPORT each other in an environment that helps to keep you on the path to greatness instead of pulling you down into the depths.
A place where we can teach each other all the necessary skills to build these projects and at the same time live an amazing LIFE!
The highs you experience from doing HARD things and WINNING, keeping the promises you make to yourself and actually doing what you say you are going to do are unlike any other.
These victories are how you rise up and take on the world!
So we are a BUILD COMMUNITY, restoring cars and restoring minds.
Our world revolves around 3 simple things;
BUILD CARS - Anything and everything goes, if it puts a smile on your face that's what we love to see!
BUILD OURSELVES - We hold each other to account, in the constant pursuit of being better than yesterday!
